Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Kandy. Take the A26 highway towards Gampola. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach Gampola. Continue on the A26 until you reach the town of Nuwara Eliya, which is about 45 kilometers from Gampola. Once you are in Nuwara Eliya, look for the road signs directing you towards Hawagala. The last segment of the journey is a scenic drive along a well-maintained road. You can park your car in a designated area near the base of the mountain.
