Car
If you are driving from Åre town center, head west on Storgatan towards Årevägen. Continue on Årevägen for about 1.5 kilometers, then turn right onto Fjällvägen. Follow Fjällvägen for another 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area near Åre utsiktsplats. Parking is available for a fee, so be prepared to pay for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Åre utsiktsplats via public transportation, take the local bus from Åre station. Look for the bus that heads towards 'Åre Bergbana' or 'Åre Utsiktsplats'. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you get off at the Åre Utsiktsplats stop, follow the signs leading to the observation point, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are in Åre and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route from the town. Start at the Åre Torg and walk along the riverbank towards Årevägen. After about 20-30 minutes of walking, you will reach the base of the hill where Åre utsiktsplats is located. From there, follow the path leading up to the viewpoint. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path may be steep in some areas.
