Car
If you're driving from Åre, start by heading south on the E14 road. Continue for approximately 9 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Tannforsen Waterfall and take the exit towards Tännforsen. After exiting, follow the road for about 2 kilometers. You will find a parking area near the waterfall entrance. Note that parking might incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, take a bus from Åre to Duved. Buses frequently depart from the Åre bus station. The journey typically takes around 30 minutes. Once in Duved, you can either walk or take a taxi to Tannforsen Waterfall, which is about 5 kilometers from Duved. Walking will take about an hour, and it’s a scenic route. Alternatively, pre-book a taxi for a quicker option.
Walking
For those who are already at the Tannforsen area, you can reach the waterfall by following well-marked hiking paths. If you are starting from the parking area, it's a short walk of about 500 meters to the viewing point of the waterfall. The path is suitable for most visitors, but be prepared for some uneven terrain.
