Car
From Åre, head south on E14 towards Krokom. After approximately 90 km, take the exit towards E4 in the direction of Sundsvall/Stockholm. Continue on E4 for about 450 km until you reach the junction for Nynäshamn. Take the exit for Nynäshamn (road 73) and follow signs towards Vendelsö. After reaching Vendelsö, look for signs directing you to Tyresta National Park. The park entrance is located at the address 136 59 Vendelsö. Please note that parking fees apply at the park, and it's advisable to carry cash or a card to cover this cost.

Public Transportation
To reach Tyresta National Park from Åre using public transportation, first take a train from Åre station to Stockholm Central. The train journey takes approximately 7 hours. Upon arrival at Stockholm Central, transfer to the subway (Tunnelbana) and take line 18 towards Kungsträdgården. Change at T-Centralen to line 19 and head towards Nynäshamn. Get off at the station called 'Tyresta by' (approximately 30 minutes). From there, it's about a 30-minute walk to the park entrance.
