Bräckeliften is a tow (T‑bar) lift positioned in the Bräcke sector of the Åre ski area, close to the Snow Park facilities and the lower mountain terrain used for easy to intermediate skiing. It functions primarily as a short connector lift that moves skiers and snowboarders up the slope to access park lines, blue and red runs and illuminated evening areas. The lift’s compact footprint and role within the ski area make it a convenient starting point for shorter laps or for practising park features nearby.

This is a straightforward, no‑frills T‑bar built for frequent turnover rather than long scenic ascents. It’s commonly used by learners easing into tows, families ferrying between nursery slopes and the nearby park, and freeride visitors dropping into the Snow Park’s lower features. Its short ride and gentle gradient make it suited to repetition: you can do quick practice runs, work on technical basics, or repeatedly hit the illuminated park elements when they’re scheduled for night sessions.

Bräckeliften sits beside the lower end of SkiStar’s Snow Park Åre and the section known as “The Garden,” an illuminated park area designed for freestyle features and social atmosphere. When park lighting is active and the lift runs extended hours, the immediate environment becomes a hub of activity — riders carving laps, park crews tuning features and friendly banter at the lift queue. The lift’s proximity to the park means it’s often used specifically to access jumps, rails and beginner‑to‑intermediate park lines.

The lift runs during the winter ski season with scheduled daytime hours and, on many dates, extended or evening sessions that coincide with floodlit park activity. Its shorter length and operational profile allow it to open and close independently of larger lifts higher on the mountain, so guests find it useful for concentrated training, twilight skiing and sessions when the main high‑zone lifts are not running.

The immediate slopes are oriented toward practice and playful skiing rather than long descents, and the terrain below the lift often contains park entries, graded blue runs and family‑friendly slopes.
