Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car in Lindvallen, start by heading south on Lindvallenvägen. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with E45. Turn right onto E45 heading south towards Sälen. After approximately 3 kilometers, take the exit toward 66/Sälen. Follow the road signs for 66 and continue for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Ö Kalven; turn right onto the access road. The destination will be on your left after about 1 kilometer.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Ö Kalven using public transportation, first take the local bus from Lindvallen to Sälen. Buses run regularly, and you can catch one from the main bus stop in Lindvallen. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest times. The journey to Sälen takes about 30 minutes. Once in Sälen, you can either walk or take a taxi to Ö Kalven, which is approximately 4 kilometers away. If you choose to walk, head east on the main road, following the signs for Ö Kalven. Ensure you have local currency for the bus fare, which is about 30 SEK.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous traveler, renting a bicycle in Lindvallen can be a fun way to reach Ö Kalven. Head south on Lindvallenvägen and follow the same route as the car directions. It is approximately a 7-kilometer ride to Ö Kalven. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules. Cross to the west side of E45 and continue south along the road for about 5 kilometers. This route will take you directly to Ö Kalven. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated. The walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
