Gülzauudden: Nature's Retreat in Luleå

Getting There

• Walking

  From the Luleå Central Station, head south towards Kungsgatan. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Storgatan. Turn right onto Storgatan and walk for approximately 600 meters. You will pass by various shops and cafes. At the next major intersection, turn left onto Södra Hamnleden. Continue walking along this road, which runs parallel to the waterfront. After about 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Gültzauudden on your left. Follow the path leading into the park, where you can enjoy the scenic views and amenities.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Luleå Central Station, take bus number 5 towards 'Hertsön.' The bus stop is located directly outside the station. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Gültzauudden' stop. Once you disembark, you will see the park entrance directly across the street. Cross the road and enter Gültzauudden to explore its beautiful surroundings.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops near Luleå Central Station. Head south on Kungsgatan and then turn onto Storgatan, following the same route as pedestrians. After merging onto Södra Hamnleden, you can enjoy a scenic bike ride along the waterfront. The cycling distance is approximately 2 kilometers, and you will find bike paths that lead directly to Gültzauudden, where you can park your bike at the designated bike racks.
