Over 34 kilometers of trails cater to varied paces, from the 1.3 km Tärnekullerundan through damp spruce to caves and warm lichen slopes, to the demanding 6.7 km Oxögabergsrundan across bogs and rifts. Trollkyrkerundan (4.6 km) descends into dramatic valleys via steps and railings to Stora and Lilla Trollkyrka peaks, while Stenkällerundan (2.2 km) scrambles amid giant boulders to Stenkälla well and Vättern vistas. The Bergslagsleden long-distance path connects through the east.

Wildlife and Aquatic Havens

Tiveden's ecosystems teem with moose, roe deer, foxes, wild boars, and elusive otters along waterways. Birdlife thrives, including capercaillie, black grouse, and eagle-owls. Scattered lakes like Trehörningen offer shallow beaches at Vitsand for refreshing dips, their clear waters reflecting surrounding cliffs.
