Start your journey at Norrköping Central Station (Norrköping C). Exit the station and head southwest on Vasagatan. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Drottninggatan. Turn left onto Drottninggatan and follow it until you reach the river, Norrström. Cross the bridge (Norrköpingsbron) over the river. Once you cross the bridge, turn right onto Kungsängsgatan. Keep walking along this street until you reach a fork, and take the left path, which is Skarphagsleden. Follow the path until you see signs for Johannisborgs castle ruins. The ruins will be on your right, set in a scenic area surrounded by trees.

Rent a bicycle from a local rental service in Norrköping. Start at Norrköping Central Station (Norrköping C) and head southwest on Vasagatan, then turn left onto Drottninggatan. Continue to the river, where you will find bike paths along Norrström. Follow the path along the river until you reach the bridge (Norrköpingsbron). After crossing the bridge, follow Skarphagsleden.
