Car
If you are driving to Moragården, start from any point in the Stockholm Archipelago and head towards central Stockholm. Follow the signs for E4 towards Stockholm. Once you reach the city, take the exit for 'Djurgården'. Continue on Djurgårdsbron bridge, which leads you directly to Djurgården Island. Moragården is located within the Skansen open-air museum on Djurgården. There is parking available near Skansen, but it can be limited during peak tourist seasons, so arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation (Train + Tram)
To reach Moragården using public transportation, start by taking an SL commuter train from any station in the Stockholm Archipelago to Stockholm Central Station. From there, transfer to the tram line 7 (direction: Djurgården) at the stop 'T-Centralen'. The tram ride will take you directly to Djurgården. Get off at the stop 'Skansen' which is located right at the entrance to the open-air museum. Moragården is located within the museum grounds.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Another public transport option is to take a bus from the Stockholm Archipelago to the city. Depending on your starting location, you may take an SL bus to 'Slussen' or 'T-Centralen'. From either location, you can board tram line 7 towards Djurgården. Disembark at the 'Skansen' stop. Make sure to check the SL website or app for the latest bus and tram schedules and any applicable fares. A single ticket for public transport costs approximately 39 SEK.
