Subway
To get to the Royal Swedish Opera located at Gustav Adolfs torg 2, start by heading to the nearest subway station. If you're near T-Centralen (the central station), take the Blue Line (T11 or T10) towards Kungsträdgården. The journey will take about 3 minutes. Get off at the Kungsträdgården station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the water and follow the signs to Gustav Adolfs torg, which is just a short 5-minute walk away.
Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, find your nearest bus stop and take bus number 47 or 55. Both buses stop at Gustav Adolfs torg. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off the bus, you will be right at the Royal Swedish Opera.
Walking
If you're staying nearby, walking is a great option. From the Gamla Stan (Old Town), head towards Slottsbacken and walk straight until you reach the water. Turn left on the waterfront path, and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see the Royal Swedish Opera on your right as you approach Gustav Adolfs torg.
Tram
You can also take tram number 7 from the Djurgården area towards Sergels torg. Get off at the 'Kungsträdgården' stop, which is very close to the Royal Swedish Opera. The tram ride takes around 15 minutes. After getting off, walk towards the square, and you will see the Opera just a few steps away.
