Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you're starting from T-Centralen, the main subway station in Stockholm, take the blue line (T11 or T13) towards Kungsträdgården. Once you arrive at Kungsträdgården station, take the exit towards the park. From the station, walk straight ahead and turn left onto Karl XII's Square. Continue walking straight until you reach the Royal Palace, which will be on your right.

    If you're in Gamla Stan (the Old Town), the Royal Palace is just a short walk away. Head towards the water and take a right onto Slottsbacken. Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Royal Palace ahead of you. The palace is large, so you'll easily spot it.

    From the central station, you can also take bus number 43 towards Nybroplan. Get off at the stop 'Slottsbacken.' From there, walk straight up Slottsbacken Street for about 5 minutes, and the Royal Palace will be directly in front of you.

  • Tram

    If you're near Djurgården, you can take tram line 7 towards Norrmalmstorg. Get off at the stop 'Kungsträdgården.' From there, walk towards the park exit and follow the signs towards the Royal Palace, which should take about 10 minutes.
