Walking
From the central square in Gamla Stan, Stortorget, head east towards Köpmangatan. Continue straight as Köpmangatan becomes Österlånggatan. When you reach the intersection with Mälartorget, turn left onto Mälartorget. Follow this road until you reach the waterfront, then turn right onto Skeppsbron. Walk along Skeppsbron until you see the entrance to Kungsträdgården on your left, just after passing the bridge over the canal.

From Gamla Stan station, take the Green Line (Line 19) towards Alvik. Disembark at T-Centralen (the main central station), then transfer to the Blue Line (Line 11) towards Kungsträdgården.
