Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central square in Gamla Stan, Stortorget, head east towards Köpmangatan. Continue straight as Köpmangatan becomes Österlånggatan. When you reach the intersection with Mälartorget, turn left onto Mälartorget. Follow this road until you reach the waterfront, then turn right onto Skeppsbron. Walk along Skeppsbron until you see the entrance to Kungsträdgården on your left, just after passing the bridge over the canal.

  • Public Transport (Metro)

    From Gamla Stan station, take the Green Line (Line 19) towards Alvik. Disembark at T-Centralen (the main central station), then transfer to the Blue Line (Line 11) towards Kungsträdgården. Exit the metro at Kungsträdgården station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards Jussi Björlings allé, and you will find the entrance to Kungsträdgården directly ahead.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    Walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Slottsbacken, about a 5-minute walk from the center of Gamla Stan. Take Bus 47 towards Frihamnen and get off at the stop 'Kungsträdgården'. The park entrance will be a short walk from the bus stop on Jussi Björlings allé.
