If you're in Södermalm, the Statue of Swedenborg is located at Mariatorget 4. Start by heading towards Mariatorget Square. Depending on your starting point, you can navigate through the streets by using these landmarks: if you're near the Mariatorget subway station, exit the station and walk straight towards the square. The square itself is surrounded by a park and has pathways leading directly to the statue.
Public Transport - Metro
If you are further away in Södermalm, you can take the Metro (Tunnelbana). The nearest station is Mariatorget (green line). Once you exit the station, follow the signs leading to Mariatorget Square. After exiting the station, turn left, walk for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the statue located at Mariatorget 4. Please note that a single trip on the Metro costs approximately 44 SEK for adults.
Bus
You can also reach the Statue of Swedenborg by taking a bus. Look for bus lines that stop at Mariatorget. Common lines include 4, 55, and 66. Once you get off at the Mariatorget stop, the statue is just a short walk away. Just head towards the square, and you’ll see the statue at Mariatorget 4. The bus fare is around 39 SEK for a single trip.
