Getting There

    From Vasastan, start by heading towards Odenplan metro station. Walk south on Odengatan street until you reach the station. Take the Metro Line 1 (Blue Line) towards Kungsträdgården. After about 5 stops, get off at T-Centralen. Change to Metro Line 14 (Green Line) towards Slussen. Travel 2 stops and get off at Djurgården station. Once you exit the station, follow signs for Djurgården, which will lead you to the ferry terminal. Take the ferry from Djurgården to Skansen, which is just a short ride away. The ferry runs frequently, but check the schedule for exact timings.

  • Public Transport

    From Vasastan, you can also take bus number 43 from the bus stop at 'Sveavägen/Kungsgatan'. Ride the bus towards 'Ropsten' and get off at 'Djurgårdsbron' bus stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Skansen. Just follow the signs towards Djurgården and keep walking straight until you reach Skansen's entrance.
