Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Lidingö from Uppland. Take the E18 highway towards Stockholm and then follow signs for Lidingö. After crossing the Lidingö Bridge, follow the road until you reach Herserudsvägen. Turn onto Herserudsvägen and continue for about 1.5 km. Millesgården Museum will be on your left at Herserudsvägen 32, 181 50 Lidingö. There is parking available near the museum but be prepared for possible fees.

Start your journey at a nearby train station in Uppland, such as Uppsala Central. Take a train towards Stockholm Central Station. Once at Stockholm Central, transfer to the metro system and take Line 14 towards Ropsten. At Ropsten, exit and transfer to bus number 201 towards 'Millesgården.' The bus will take you directly to a stop near the museum. The total travel time will be approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on connections. Keep some coins or a travel card handy for the bus fare.
