Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Uppsala. Take E4 towards Stockholm. After about 35 km, take the exit toward Norrtälje (Road 76). Continue on Road 76 for about 40 km until you reach Gräddö. Follow the signs for Gräddö and drive until you reach the area marked 760 15 Gräddö, where Riddersholm is located. There is usually no parking fee in the immediate area, but check local signs for any restrictions.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a train from Uppsala Central Station to Norrtälje. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. From Norrtälje, you will need to take a local bus (Bus 676) to Gräddö. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to 760 15 Gräddö. Please check the SL website for the latest bus and train schedules, as they can vary. A train ticket costs around 150 SEK, and a bus ticket will cost approximately 50 SEK.
