Merge onto E4 and follow the signs for Uppsala. Take exit 181 toward Märsta. Follow the signs for Västerängsudds Rastplats, which is located near Lake Mälaren. The address is 195 92 Märsta. There is no parking fee at the Rastplats.

For those using public transportation, take the Upptåget train from Uppsala Central Station to Märsta Station. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. From Märsta Station, you can catch bus number 570 towards Vassunda. Get off at the Västerängsudds Rastplats stop. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Check the local bus schedules for any changes in timings.

If you are already in Märsta and prefer walking, you can walk to Västerängsudds Rastplats from the train station. It is approximately a 30-minute walk. Exit the station and head south on Stora Gatan, then turn right onto Tullgatan, and continue walking until you reach the E4 highway. Follow the signs to the Rastplats located near Lake Mälaren. The scenic route offers a great view of the surroundings.
