If you are traveling by car, start from your location in Västergötland and head towards the E6 motorway. Follow the signs for E6 towards Göteborg. Continue on the E6 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the exit for Kungälv (Exit 88). After exiting, follow the signs to Kungälv city center. Once in Kungälv, follow the local road signs to Bohus Fortress, located at Fästningsparken 3, 442 31 Kungälv. There are parking facilities available near the fortress, but please note that parking may incur a fee.
