The Mystery of the Raspberry Girl

At the museum's heart lies the story of the Raspberry Girl, a Neolithic teenager whose remarkably preserved body was discovered in a local bog. Nicknamed for the berries found in her stomach, her remains offer rare insights into Stone Age life, diet, and possibly ritual sacrifice to ancient deities. A forensic reconstruction of her face brings poignant humanity to this 5,000-year-old figure, her youthful features gazing out as if frozen in time.
