If you are driving from Gothenburg, take the E6 highway southbound. After approximately 15 km, take exit 60 towards Mölndal. Follow the road signs towards Mölndal city center. Once you arrive in Mölndal, continue on Kvarnbygatan. The museum is located at Kvarnbygatan 12, and there is parking available nearby for a small fee of around 10 SEK per hour.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, start by taking a train from any location in Västergötland to Gothenburg Central Station. From Gothenburg Central, transfer to tram line 2 towards Mölndal. Ride the tram for about 15 minutes and disembark at the 'Mölndal Station' stop. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the museum. Head east on Kvarnbygatan, and you will find Mölndal City Museum at Kvarnbygatan 12. Be sure to purchase a ticket for the tram, which costs approximately 30 SEK.
Bus
You can also take a bus from various locations in Västergötland to Mölndal. Check the local bus schedule for routes heading to Mölndal.
