To reach the Historical border between Sweden and Denmark from any location in Västergötland, start by getting onto E20 towards Gothenburg. If you're in the area of Skövde, take the E20 south for about 70 km. Once you approach Gothenburg, take the exit towards E6 heading south. Continue on E6 for approximately 20 km until you reach Lindome. Take the exit towards Lindome/Fässberg, then follow signs towards Brohällsvägen. The historical border is located at Brohällsvägen 5, 437 41 Lindome. Parking may be available nearby, but check local signage for any fees.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a train from your nearest station in Västergötland to Gothenburg Central Station (Göteborgs centralstation). Trains run frequently, and the journey from Skövde takes about 1 hour. Once at Gothenburg Central, switch to a local train (Västtrafik) heading towards Kungsbacka. Get off at Lindome station. From there, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local bus towards Brohällsvägen. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for the most current routes and times.

For the more adventurous, cycling to the Historical border is an option. From central Västergötland, head towards the city of Gothenburg using the designated bike paths. The ride is approximately 60 km from Skövde to Lindome and can take around 4-5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once in Lindome, navigate to Brohällsvägen 5. Be sure to wear a helmet and check local bike paths for safety.
