    If you're traveling by car, start by heading to Avesta from nearby towns in Västmanland. From Västerås, take the E18 highway towards Örebro. After approximately 40 km, take the exit towards Route 70 towards Avesta. Follow Route 70 for about 30 km until you reach Avesta. Once in Avesta, follow the signs to the center, and then to Gammelängsvägen. Avesta Visentpark is located at Gammelängsvägen 7, 774 35 Avesta. There is free parking available on-site.

    For public transportation, you can take a train from Västerås to Avesta. Trains run regularly and the journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Avesta station, exit the station and take bus number 1 towards Gammelängsvägen.
