From Appenzell, start by heading southwest on Hauptstrasse towards the A1 motorway. After about 15 minutes, merge onto A1 towards St. Gallen. Continue on A1 for approximately 20 km, then take exit 82 towards Bregenz. Follow the signs for Bregenz and merge onto B203. Continue on B203 for about 10 km until you reach Eriskirch, Germany. Look for signs directing you to Biotopteich. The total drive should take around 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
