From Appenzell, drive south on the Hauptstraße (Main Road) towards the A1 highway entrance. Merge onto A1 towards St. Gallen. After approximately 15 km, take the exit toward Kreuzlingen/Eriskirch. Continue on the B33 highway for about 20 km, following signs for Eriskirch. Upon arriving in Eriskirch, follow the signs to Strandbad, located at Strandbad 1, 88097 Eriskirch, Germany. Note that parking may incur a fee.

Start at Appenzell train station. Take the train towards St. Gallen and transfer at St. Gallen to the train heading to Friedrichshafen. Get off at Eriskirch station. From there, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) to Strandbad Eriskirch or take a local bus (bus number 739) that stops near the beach. Be sure to check the local bus schedule as service frequency may vary throughout the day. A train ticket will cost approximately CHF 15-20.
