Getting There

  • Bus

    From Arosa, walk to the Arosa bus station located near the center of the village. Take the bus number 501 towards Zernez. The bus ride will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as it may vary. Once you arrive at the Zernez bus station, exit the bus and follow the signs towards the Swiss National Park. The park entrance is about a 10-minute walk from the bus station.

  • Train and Bus

    From Arosa, walk to the Arosa train station. Take the train to Chur, which is the main station. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Chur, transfer to the bus number 501 that goes to Zernez. The bus ride from Chur to Zernez will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes. After arriving at the Zernez bus station, follow the signs to the Swiss National Park, which is a 10-minute walk from the station.

  • Hiking

    For the adventurous, you can hike from Arosa to Zernez. Start at the Arosa cable car station and take the trail that leads towards Zernez. This is a longer hike, approximately 20 kilometers, and could take around 5-6 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to carry enough water, snacks, and a map. Once you reach Zernez, you can easily find the entrance to the Swiss National Park, which is well marked.
