    From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Ascona, Piazza'. Take bus number 1 towards Locarno. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Locarno, Piazza Grande' stop, which is near the main attractions in Locarno. From there, you can easily explore the city.
