Walking
To reach Lungolago Locarno/Muralto from Ascona, start at the main square in Ascona, known as Piazza Giuseppe Motta. Head south towards the lakefront promenade. Follow the promenade along the lake, enjoying the beautiful views. Continue walking along the path that borders the lake until you reach the end of the promenade. You will arrive at Viale Verbano, where Lungolago Locarno/Muralto is located. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

From Ascona, you can take the local bus to reach Lungolago Locarno/Muralto. Start at the Ascona bus station, which is centrally located. Board the bus number 1 heading towards Locarno. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Muralto, Stazione' stop. From there, walk down Viale Verbano towards the lake, and you will arrive at Lungolago Locarno/Muralto within a few minutes.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Ascona. Start from the center and take the dedicated bike path along the lake. Follow the path that leads towards Locarno.
