Walking
Start at the center of Ascona, particularly at the Piazza Giuseppe Motta, which is near the lakeside. From the piazza, head east towards the main road, Via della Libertà. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via Sant'Anna. Turn left onto Via Sant'Anna and follow it as it curves into Via Santuario. After about a 15-minute walk, you will see the Museo Madonna del Sasso sign on your right at Via Santuario 2, in Orselina.
Public Transport - Funicular
From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the PostBus to Orselina (make sure to check the timetable). Once you arrive in Orselina, look for the funicular station that leads up to the Madonna del Sasso. Take the funicular for a short ride up the hill. After disembarking, the museum is just a few minutes' walk from the funicular station. Follow the signs to the museum located at Via Santuario 2.
