Tram
If you're near the Basel SBB train station, head to the tram stop located just outside the station. Take tram line 10 or 11 towards 'Basel, Bahnhof SBB' and ride for three stops. Get off at 'Basel, Marktplatz'. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Town Hall (Rathaus) which is a short distance away. From there, head down Augustinergasse, and you'll find the Augustiner Brunnen at number 1.

If you are in the city center, simply walk towards the Marktplatz. Once you're at the Marktplatz, look for the Town Hall (Rathaus), which is red and very recognizable. From there, walk down Augustinergasse, and you will find the Augustiner Brunnen at 1. It’s a pleasant stroll and should take you about 5-10 minutes.
Bus
Find the nearest bus stop and take bus line 36 towards 'Basel, Badischer Bahnhof'. Get off at 'Basel, Marktplatz'. From the bus stop, walk towards the Town Hall (Rathaus) and then proceed down Augustinergasse. The Augustiner Brunnen will be located at number 1, just a few minutes' walk from the Town Hall.
