Getting There

    If you are starting from the Basel SBB train station, exit the station and head south towards Centralbahnplatz. From there, take the tram line 10 or 8 in the direction of 'Basel, Schifflände' and get off at the 'Marktplatz' stop. Once you exit the tram, you will see the City Hall (Rathaus) in front of you. Walk towards the City Hall, then take a right onto the street called Mühlegraben. Continue walking straight, and you will find the Basel City Wall along this route. Look for the sections of the wall and the Mühlegraben area.

    From the 'Kleinbasel' area, locate the nearest tram stop and take tram line 8 towards 'Neubad'. Get off at the 'Marktplatz' stop. After exiting, walk towards the City Hall (Rathaus), which is a prominent red building. From the City Hall, head right onto Mühlegraben street. Follow this street, and you will soon encounter the Basel City Wall on your left.
