Tram
If you are starting from Basel SBB (the main train station), take tram line 8 towards 'Kannenfeldpark'. Ride for about 8 stops and get off at 'Kleinbasel'. From there, walk down 'Rheingasse' towards the Rhine River, and you will reach Kleinbasel Altstadt at Rheingasse 12.
Walking
If you are near the Basel Minster, you can easily walk to Kleinbasel Altstadt. Head down 'Petersplatz' towards the Rhine. Cross the 'Mittlere Brücke' (Middle Bridge) over the Rhine River, then turn left onto 'Rheingasse'. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Rheingasse 12, which is the heart of Kleinbasel Altstadt.
Bus
From 'Basel SBB', take bus number 30 towards 'Binningen, Schützenhaus'. Get off at the 'Kleinbasel' bus stop. From there, walk towards the Rhine River, then follow 'Rheingasse' to reach Kleinbasel Altstadt at Rheingasse 12, a short 5-minute walk.
Ferry
If you are near the Rhine River, you can take the ferry from 'Kleinbasel' (the one near 'Rheinschifffahrt') directly across to the other side of the river. After getting off the ferry, head left and walk along the riverbank until you reach 'Rheingasse'. Kleinbasel Altstadt is located at Rheingasse 12, just a short walk away.
