Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near the Basel SBB (train station), exit the station and head southwest on Centralbahnstrasse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Barfüssergasse. Turn left onto Barfüssergasse and walk until you reach the Marktplatz. At the Marktplatz, you will see the Rathaus (Town Hall). From here, continue along the street until you reach Spalengraben. The University of Basel Botanical Garden will be on your right at Spalengraben 8.

    If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest tram stop. Use tram line 10 or 11 from the Basel SBB station towards 'Dornach' or 'Freiburg'. Get off at the 'Universität' stop.
