Getting There

    From the heart of Old Town, head towards Marktplatz. When you reach the square, look for the fountain and the red Town Hall. From there, take the street called Spalentor, which leads you out of the Old Town area. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Binningerstrasse. Turn left onto Binningerstrasse, and you will see Zoo Basel on your right. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you prefer taking public transportation, head to the nearest tram stop in Old Town, which is 'Marktplatz'. Board Tram Line 10 towards 'Riehen' or 'Dornach'. After a few stops, get off at 'Zoo' tram stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the entrance of Zoo Basel located at Binningerstrasse 40. Please note that a single tram ticket costs around CHF 4.40.
