From Breitenrain-Lorraine, start by walking towards the nearest tram stop, which could be either 'Breitenrain' or 'Zytglogge'. If you're closer to 'Breitenrain', board tram line 9 towards 'Grosser Muristalden' and get off at the 'Zytglogge' stop. From the tram stop, it's just a short walk to the Zytglogge itself, following the signs. If you prefer to walk directly, head north on Breitenrainstrasse, turn right onto Effingerstrasse, and continue straight until you see the Zytglogge tower ahead.

You can also take tram line 7 or 9 from the 'Breitenrain' stop. Board the tram heading towards 'Grosser Muristalden' for line 9 or 'Wankdorf' for line 7. After about 5 stops, disembark at 'Zytglogge'. Exit the tram, and you will see the iconic clock tower just a short walk away. A single tram ticket costs CHF 4.20 for a standard fare, valid for 2 hours within Bern's public transport network.

Alternatively, take bus line 11 from the nearest bus stop, which could be 'Breitenrain'. Board the bus towards 'Wabern' and travel for about 5 minutes. Get off at 'Zytglogge' stop. From there, it's a brief walk to the Zytglogge. The bus fare is the same as the tram, CHF 4.20 for a single ride.
