Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are starting from Bern Main Station (Bern HB), take tram line 9 towards 'Gümligen'. After a 5-minute ride, get off at 'Zytglogge' stop. From there, walk for about 10 minutes: head down Kramgasse, then continue straight onto Nydeggasse. Follow the road as it curves to the right and becomes Nydeggstalden. The Zähringer memorial will be on your left.

    If you are near the Federal Palace (Bundeshaus), you can walk to the Zähringer memorial. Head southeast on Bundesplatz towards Helvetiaplatz.
