Public Transport - Tram
If you are starting from Bern Main Station (Bern HB), take tram line 9 towards 'Gümligen'. After a 5-minute ride, get off at 'Zytglogge' stop. From there, walk for about 10 minutes: head down Kramgasse, then continue straight onto Nydeggasse. Follow the road as it curves to the right and becomes Nydeggstalden. The Zähringer memorial will be on your left.

If you are near the Federal Palace (Bundeshaus), you can walk to the Zähringer memorial. Head southeast on Bundesplatz towards Helvetiaplatz. Continue along the path that leads down to the Aare River. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank. Follow the signs to Nydeggstalden; the memorial will be ahead on your right after you go uphill.
