From Engelberg, take the main road (Route 2) heading towards Lucerne. After approximately 25 km, exit onto Route 24 towards Lungern. Continue on Route 24 for about 8 km until you reach Lungern. Follow signs to Lungernersee, which is located just a short drive from the village center.

Start at Engelberg train station. Take the train to Lucerne (approximately 45 minutes). From Lucerne, transfer to a train heading to Brienz (about 30 minutes). Change trains at Brienz for the service to Lungern (approximately 15 minutes). Once you arrive at Lungern station, it's a 10-minute walk to Lungernersee. Follow the signs leading towards the lake.
