Train
From Geneva, head to the Cornavin train station (Gare Cornavin). Purchase a ticket to Annecy. Trains run regularly, but it's best to check the schedule ahead of your trip. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride to Annecy, which takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival at Annecy station, exit the station and turn right onto Avenue du Tresum. Continue straight until you reach Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau. The Cathédrale Saint-Pierre will be on your left at number 8.
Bus
From Geneva, make your way to the Geneva International Airport (Aéroport International de Genève) or the main bus station (Gare Routière). At either location, find a bus service that goes to Annecy. The journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Annecy, disembark at the main bus station (Gare Routière). From there, walk to Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau by heading northwest on Rue des Marquisats, then turn left onto Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau. The Cathédrale Saint-Pierre will be located at number 8 on your left.
Bicycle
If you’re feeling adventurous and want to bike to Annecy, you can rent a bicycle in Geneva. Head towards the Route de Lausanne and follow the signs for the Cycle Route to Annecy. The ride is approximately 40 kilometers and may take about 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Once you enter Annecy, follow the signs to the city center. Ride towards Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, where you will find the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre at number 8.
Walking
Walking directly from Geneva to Annecy is not practical due to the distance (approximately 40 km). However, if you are already in Annecy, you can easily walk to the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre. Start from the center of Annecy and head towards the old town (Vieille Ville). Follow the signs to Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, and you will find the cathedral at number 8.
