Train
From Geneva, take a train from Geneva Cornavin station to Annecy. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Trains run regularly, so check the schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at Annecy station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Avenue de la Gare).
Walking
From the Annecy train station, walk straight along Avenue de la Gare until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rue de la République. Continue walking along Rue de la République, which will lead you to the picturesque old town. Follow the signs towards the Palais de l'Île. The museum is located at 3 Pass. de l'Île, which is a short walk from the main square (Place de l'Hôtel de Ville).
Bus
After arriving at Annecy train station, you can take Bus Line 1 from the bus stop located right outside the station. This bus will take you to the 'Palais de l'Île' stop. The bus ride is about 10 minutes. Once you get off at the Palais de l'Île stop, follow the signs to the museum entrance, which is just a few steps away.
