Getting there

Bus

From Davos Platz, walk to the Davos Platz bus station, which is located just a few minutes away on the main street. Look for the bus routes heading towards Samedan. You can take bus number 3 or 5 that goes directly to Samedan. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Samedan bus station, exit and head towards the main road. Muottas Muragl is accessible via the funicular railway from Samedan, which is a short walk from the bus station.

Train

From Davos Platz, walk to the Davos Platz train station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Take the train towards Samedan, which typically runs every hour. The train ride will take around 15 minutes. After arriving at Samedan, exit the train station and follow the signs towards the funicular railway station to reach Muottas Muragl.

Walking

If you prefer to walk and are feeling adventurous, you can take a scenic route from Davos to Samedan. Head out of Davos towards the north on the walking path that follows the Landwasser river. The walk is approximately 6 kilometers and provides beautiful views of the valley. Once you reach Samedan, find your way to the funicular railway that takes you up to Muottas Muragl.

Funicular

Once you arrive in Samedan, make your way to the funicular railway station. The station is located near the main road and is well-signposted. You will need to purchase a ticket for the funicular, which will take you directly up to Muottas Muragl. The ride offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and will take around 10 minutes.
