Getting there

Bus

From Arosa, head to the main bus station located near the center of the town. Look for the bus that is heading towards Pontresina. Once you arrive in Pontresina, disembark at the main bus stop, which is centrally located.

Train

Start at the Arosa train station, which is easily accessible from most hotels in Arosa. Purchase a ticket for the train heading towards Chur, and get off at the station in Pontresina. The train ride will take about 35 minutes. Once you arrive in Pontresina, follow the signs to the main exit and you will be in the vicinity of shops and attractions.

Walking

If you prefer to walk, you can take the scenic route. Start from the center of Arosa and head towards the hiking trails that lead towards Pontresina. The walk is approximately 10 kilometers and will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Follow the well-marked signs for hiking trails towards the direction of Pontresina. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, but ensure you carry enough water and snacks.
