If you're driving, start by navigating to Chur, the capital of Graubünden. From Chur, take the A13 motorway towards Landquart. After about 10 km, take the exit towards Haldenstein (Exit 15). Continue on Route 13 for about 1 km, then turn left onto Haldensteinerstrasse. Follow the road signs to Schloss Haldenstein, which will be a short drive from here. The castle has a small parking area where you can leave your car.

If you're using public transportation, head to Chur's main train station (Bahnhof Chur). From there, take the PostBus (Line 1) towards Haldenstein. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. After reaching Haldenstein, disembark at the 'Haldenstein Post' stop. From the bus stop, it's a short 10-minute walk to Schloss Haldenstein. Follow Haldensteinerstrasse up the hill, and you will see the castle in the distance.
