From Grindelwald village, head towards the First cable car station, which is located near the main street. Take the cable car to First. Once you arrive at First, follow the well-marked hiking trail towards Bachalpsee. The trail is approximately 1.5 hours long, with stunning views along the way. Make sure to follow the signs for Bachalpsee as you walk. The path is clear and suitable for most hikers.
Bus
From the center of Grindelwald, walk to the bus station located near the railway station. Catch the bus number 124 towards 'First'. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the First stop, follow the hiking trail signs to Bachalpsee, which is about a 1.5-hour walk from the cable car station.
