Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Grindelwald, head south on the main road (Dorfstrasse) towards the train station. Once you reach the train station, take the train to Interlaken Ost. After arriving at Interlaken Ost, transfer to the train towards Brienz and get off at the Bönigen stop. From the Bönigen train station, walk east for about 10 minutes along the Lütschinenstrasse until you reach The Beach - Strandbad Bönigen at Lütschinenstrasse 24.

    From Grindelwald, take the local bus (Line 1) towards Interlaken. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the Bönigen, Post stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to The Beach - Strandbad Bönigen. Head east on Lütschinenstrasse for approximately 300 meters, and you will see The Beach on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you're renting a bicycle in Grindelwald, head southeast on the main road (Dorfstrasse) towards the train station. From there, follow the bike path towards Interlaken along the scenic route.
