Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, head towards the village of Wengen. From Interlaken, take the A8 highway towards Lauterbrunnen. Exit at Lauterbrunnen, and follow the signs to Wengen. Please note that Wengen is a car-free village, so you will need to park your car at the designated parking area in Lauterbrunnen. Then take a train from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen, which takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Wengen, follow the signs to the Männlichen cable car station.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    If you are using public transportation, start by taking a train from your location to Interlaken Ost. From Interlaken Ost, transfer to the train heading to Lauterbrunnen. In Lauterbrunnen, switch to the train that will take you to Wengen. The total journey will take approximately one hour. Once you arrive in Wengen, proceed to the Männlichen cable car station to begin your ascent.

    After reaching Wengen via train, walk to the Männlichen cable car station.
