If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Interlaken. Head east on the A8 highway towards Grindelwald. Follow signs for Grindelwald and exit onto Route 6. Continue through Grindelwald town center and follow the signs to the Jungfraujoch cable car station at Eigergletscher. Note that parking is available at the cable car station, but may incur a small fee. Once parked, you'll need to take the cable car to reach the Jungfraujoch Sphinx Observatory.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From Grindelwald, you can board a cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch, which takes about 35 minutes. Keep in mind that you will need to purchase a ticket for the cogwheel train, which can be quite costly, ranging from CHF 50-100 depending on the season and time of booking. Once you reach Jungfraujoch, follow the signs to the Sphinx Observatory, which is accessible on foot.

After arriving at Grindelwald, if you prefer a more scenic route, you can take the Eiger Express cable car from Grindelwald to Eigergletscher. This cable car ride offers stunning views of the Eiger mountain. From Eigergletscher, you will then take another cable car or the cogwheel train up to Jungfraujoch. Be aware that the cable car ticket is an additional cost, typically around CHF 40.
