Getting There

  • Metro

    If you're starting from Lausanne's main train station, Gare de Lausanne, take Metro line M2 (the blue line) towards Ouchy. Get off at the stop 'Riponne-Maurice Béjart'. Once you exit the metro station, head towards the direction of the main square. Walk straight onto Rue de la Mercerie, which will lead you to Place de la Palud.

    From Riponne-Maurice Béjart, after exiting the metro, continue walking straight until you reach Place de la Palud. The Townhall (Hôtel de Ville) will be located on the left side at Pl. de la Palud 2. It's a distinctive building with a tower that you can't miss.

    Alternatively, if you are near the Lausanne Cathedral, you can take bus line 1 from 'Cathedrale' bus stop towards 'Ouchy, port'. Get off at 'Palud' bus stop. Once you step off the bus, the Townhall will be directly in front of you at Pl. de la Palud 2.
