If you prefer to take public transport, you can hop on the M2 metro line from the 'Lausanne Gare' station. Get off at the 'Ouchy' station. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk uphill to the cathedral. Follow the signs towards the Old Town and then take Rue de la Cathédrale to reach your destination. Note that a single metro ticket costs approximately CHF 3.50.

You can also take the bus to get closer to Lausanne Cathedral. Board bus number 21 or 22 at any stop in Old Town that serves these lines and get off at the 'Cathedrale' stop. From there, it’s just a short 5-minute walk to the cathedral. Bus tickets are also around CHF 3.50 for a single journey.
