Getting There

  • Train

    From Lucerne's main train station (Luzern Bahnhof), take a train towards Zug. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Zug, transfer to a train heading towards Sarnen and get off at Morgarten. Once you exit the train, follow the signs to Hauptseestrasse. The Morgartendenkmal is located at Hauptseestrasse 131, just a short walk from the station.

  • Bus

    From Lucerne, head to the bus terminal located near the train station. Take bus number 1 towards 'Zug, Bahnhof' and ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the bus stop 'Morgarten, Post'. From the bus stop, walk along Hauptseestrasse for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Morgartendenkmal located at Hauptseestrasse 131.
