Walking
If you are starting from the Lucerne train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the lakefront. Walk straight along the lakeside promenade for about 10 minutes. You will pass by the beautiful lake views and the iconic Swiss hotels. As you approach the end of the promenade, turn left at the traffic lights onto Weinmarkt, a charming square filled with cafes and shops. Continue straight, and you will see the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) ahead of you, marked by its distinctive wooden structure.
Public Transport - Tram
From the main station (Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 1 or 2 towards 'Kriens, Zentrum' or 'Hirschmatt'. Get off at 'Zyt Tower' (Zeitglockenturm) stop. From there, walk straight down the street until you reach the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), which is a short 5-minute walk. This tram ride costs approximately CHF 2.70 for a single journey, which you can purchase at the ticket machines at the tram station.
